KIAYL OUTLAW is our black belt of the month for December 2023!
Kiayl began Taekwondo at World Martial Arts when she was 6 years old. She earned her black belt in 2017 and then her second degree black belt in 2019.
She has always been a natural leader and has been a part of all three Leadership branches - Leadership teaching, Demo Team, and Sparring Team! She has won Best of the Best in Summer Camp two times and is now a camp counselor. She was also a part of the weapon fan team in Demo.
She took a break during the pandemic, but she has returned this year to continue her black belt training!
What is your favorite TKD kick or form?
"Butterfly kick."
How has Taekwondo changed your life?
"Taekwondo has taught me respect, discipline, and commitment."
Do you have any hobbies?
"I play the trombone."
What are your aspirations for the future?
"I haven’t decided what I want to do yet, but I would like to do something in the space science field."
