KRISTA BYALIK is our black belt of the month for November 2024!

Krista began her Taekwondo journey with World Martial Arts in 2019, a month after her two twin sons joined as white belts. She had done Taekwondo a little when she was a teenager as well as some kickboxing. She and her boys all earned their black belts TOGETHER in June 2023 - what a great example of a family that kicks together! She is an amazing Taekwonmom at our dojang who not only guides her black belt sons to take on greater leadership roles, but models it herself by helping other adult students find their footing on the mats. She and her family are also great supporters of the Polar Plunge fundraiser for Special Olympics in Virginia. They've done it every year since 2008!

Below you can find her answers to our interview questions.
